Whats in a Name?
Burswood, located in Portland Victoria,
Australia, is the most important early mansion house in western
Victoria, being an exceptional example of Australian Regency design by distinguished
Colonial architect, James Barrow. Edward Henty, a member of one
of Australia`s most remarkable colonial families and the founder
of Portland, established the first permanent settlement in Victoria
on 19 November 1834, and Burswood is testimony to his success as
an early colonist. The Henty family went on to open large tracts
of Victoria as pioneers and leaders in the early parliament of Victoria.

The Beginning
Burswood Information Solutions was born of frustration, like
so many great things. While there was plenty of talk and discussion,
endless white papers, lectures, blogs etc etc there was no one
seriously addressing the fundamentals of the true nature of IT Asset
Management, business alignment and transformation. We are dedicated to providing new services and education
on all aspects of IT to ensure organisations can obtain
the full worth from their investment, thereby improving their business which in
turn enhances the lives of all those impacted by the organisation.
Not a vendorOne thing we are sure of...we don't want to be developing applications
for IT and asset management. There are many good vendors out there which
we can work with without compromising our position. This also allows
us to remain product agnostic which provides confidence clients
are receiving an unbiased view.

Burswood Information Solutions, located in Auckland New Zealand,
is privately owned by Daryl Frost.
Daryl obtained his primary qualifications through the Defence Force and RMIT in Melbourne, Australia. He has been involved in the electronic industry for over 30 years with a broad background across a number of industries including Defense, Transport and Telecommunications.
